Puffins Cottage is a traditional property situated in the popular village of Rock, and only 400 yards from the sandy beach. The property has been finished to a very high specification and features all mod-cons, having been comprehensively refurbished late 2007.

Downstairs there is a newly refurbished kitchen with exposed beams incorporating a range of modern fitted units as well as an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer which overlooks the garden. In addition, there is also a lounge / dining room with beamed ceiling and feature fireplace. One of the sofas in the lounge converts to a double sized sofabed.

Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms: a twin and a double

(with en-suite shower room). There is also the benefit of an additonal shower room with W.C.

To the outside is a well enclosed terraced garden as well as a parking for 3 cars or even a car & boat (Space is 6.8m x 5m).

We welcome a pet, for an additional £15 a week.

Rock

Rock is ideally situated on the North Cornish coast with the nearby villages and towns of Port Isaac, Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Padstow and Wadebridge.

The town has a nautical background with many water based activities - including , the most popular which is sailing, windsurfing, fishing trips and the ferry across to Padstow.

Within the vicinity of the cottage are several beaches - the nearest is Porthilly Beach. In addition, Daymer Bay, a well known surfing and sunbathing beach and the church of st Enodoc - made famous by association with John Betjeman, the former poet laureate, who is burried in the graveyard.

Rock has several amenities - including restaurants (including one which has a Michelin star: The Black pig), cafe, and a well stocked village shop. There is also the well known, 18 hole golf course at St Enodoc, great coastal walks and cycling on the famous Camel Trail at nearby Wadebridge.
