 BOOKING CONDITIONS These booking conditions contain important information and set out contractual terms and conditions which apply to the booking you make with Mrs. P. A Bigwood. These booking conditions include some exclusions and limitations of liability and it is therefore important that you read them carefully.
We take every care to ensure the accuracy of the information we give you. All information is given in good faith and is believed to be correct at the time of the booking. All distances are approximate. Occasionally, ‘force majeure’ or problem outside our control may arise which may mean that some of the facilities or services become unavailable. If this situation should arise, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical. It is also the responsibility of the Hirer to make any specific requirements/needs known at the time of booking and to ensure that the holiday property selected is suitable for their own needs.
Once a booking is confirmed, the Hirer is responsible for the total cost of the holiday shown on the invoice. The balance due to be paid 5 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If a booking is made less than 5 weeks before arrival, the full cost of the holiday is due.
If you wish to cancel your holiday, you should notify us in writing immediately. In the event of your canceling, we will endeavor to re let the property, however, you should note that you will be liable for payment of the full amount shown, although we will give you credit of any rents received as a result of re-letting less the expenses we have incurred in doing so.
Alterations of a confirmed holiday booking cannot usually be made. However, occasionally we can change a holiday week. Any amendments will be charged at £30 to cover our costs.
Under the terms of this agreement, the Hirer agrees:
The person booking the holiday will be known as the Head of a Party, they will be responsible for all members of the party and will ensure that they are fully aware and comply with these booking conditions. If the conditions are not met with, Mrs Bigwood can refuse right of entry, and in this situation, no monies will be refunded. Bookings will not be accepted from persons under 21 years of age or from all male or female parties without specific agreement. Bookings are usually non-transferable and any changes to guests must be agreed by the Agent in advance. The number of persons occupying the property must never exceed the number stated in the property description, unless otherwise agreed by the owner in advance by writing. Persons include infants.
Pets are only permitted at properties with our prior consent. Charges are made for pets and these are specified in our property description. Pets must never be left in the property unattended, and are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Dogs must not be allowed to annoy neighbours e.g. continual barking.
All complaints must be notified to the Owner or her Representative as soon as possible and we must be given the chance to rectify the situation. You can contact us on 01959 569096. Failure to notify us at the earliest opportunity may hamper our investigations and delay may reduce or extinguish any claim you have. In any event, you should notify us in writing within 7 days of the end of your holiday.
Provisional requirements can be accepted by telephone but must be confirmed within 3 days by the arrival of a deposit equal to one third of the total rent. Provisional reservations will automatically be cancelled after 7 days has expired without further reference to you.
The accommodation will be available from 4pm on arrival day and must be vacated by 10.00 departure day.
Mrs. P. A Bigwood will not responsible for any loss or damage to the property of the Hirer or any member of his/her party (including pets, vehicles, and contents) other than if this arises from our negligence of default of our employees and or representative.
If for any reason it proves necessary for us to make a change in your holiday booking by reason of the unexpected withdrawal of the property by the owner, or by reason of overbooking, or for some other reason, we will endeavor to make an alternative booking, or failing this we will refund to you any monies paid by you. Nevertheless,we shall be under no further obligation or liability in this respect.
If for any reason it proves necessary for us to make a change in your holiday booking by reason of the unexpected withdrawal of the property by the owner, or by reason of overbooking, or for some other reason, we will endeavor to make an alternative booking, or failing this we will refund to you any monies paid by you. Nevertheless, we shall be under no further obligation or liability in this respect.
These conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted by you, at the time when you complete the booking form. |
