Rock

Rock is ideally situated on the North Cornish coast with the nearby villages and towns of Port Isaac, Polzeath, Daymer Bay, Padstow and Wadebridge.

The town has a nautical background with many water based activities - including sailing, windsurfing, with fishing trips around the coast and the ferry across to Padstow

Within the vicinity of the cottage are several beaches - the nearest being Porthilly Beach. In addition there is Daymer Bay, a well known surfing and sunbathing beach

and the Church of st Enodoc - made famous by association with John Betjeman, the former poet laureate, who is buried in the graveyard.

Rock has several amenities - Restaurants ( one of which 'The Black pig' has a Michelin star), cafes, pub, butcher, bakery, petrol station, post office, and a well stocked village shop.

There is also the popular St Enodoc golf course, great coastal walks and cycling on the famous Camel Trail at nearby Wadebridge.
